I visited the John Deere Pavilion in Moline, IL while riding across the country. We had a day off at a host’s house in Davenport, IA, so I took a ride over. Neat place where you could climb up into some large equipment.
In the mid 70's there was a bike club in the quad city area that was sponsered by John Deere. A few guys had their frames painted JD green with yellow lettering. Definitely stood out in races.
