Without a measure of cyclist's exposure hours and motor vehicle traffic counts, raw numbers aren't very meaningful.
A per capita study is meaning enough. Florida is the death capital for bicyclists in the US. Florida Also has the largest number of lightning strikes in the US. Another thing they have a lot of is serial killers.
