Back when I first got the Litespeed, I would periodically hear a loud bell-like sound when hitting sudden bumps. I was going down a bit of road that had been trenched, then poorly patched, and it made sounds like a pinball machine.
So I named it "Pinball Wizard", or Wizard for short.
Turns out it was the flange on the pump handle of my Zefal HPx striking the underside of the top tube. Titanium rings like that. I now stuff something spongey in the gap so it doesn't do that.
