That would be me, for one at least! Mine is a 1984 Messori that was repainted by Joe Bell about 15 years ago. It is currently undergoing a minor refit but I keep slipping projects in front of it. I'll get to it though!

This is the above referenced bike along with Dario Pegoretti (L) and Lino Messori at his shop in Modena. Lino only built about 150 bikes in his lifetime, but these were highly regarded for their craftsmanship. The example above was likely more of concept bike, exploring the limits of what could be done with the medium, but it was a fully functional (if not practical) result. I believe that it resides in a museum in Italy somewhere. I have had brief conversations with Paolo Chiossi, a strong advocate and friend of Lino's and he provided this photo which is particularly interesting to me since I also have Pegoretti.

On a side note: I met Joe Bell last year at the MADE bike show in Oregon. We chatted briefly and he remembered my Messori, which amazed me since that man has painted an awful lot of bikes!
