Concerning power and cadence (RPM), these are just general targets. Of course, you don't want to be appearing to be in zone 2, when you're really doing a combination of zone 1 and say zone 4. But if the average power or cadence briefly drifts a little high and low, I don't think that matters.
Using iPhone and iPad, but the primary difference may be the Free version versus Pay functionality. I contacted them regarding changing workout days and hitting the wall, and no response. Probably because it’s not worth their time answering free people. Just a guess.
