Rainy again in San Diego. Onto the trainer I go! Just an easy ride today. The Thursday night "world champs" ride was a success, I'm actually glad I went. Windy weather and threat of rain kept the cars off the island I guess. I managed to avoid undue car traffic on the island and get away from the primary group pretty early on.
After some chaos at first, a break of three emerged, which later ballooned up to 5. We stayed away pretty easily and then started attacking each other later on. Did way more than my share of the work. Box checked, now I can skip that ride again until next year
