I say, just buy whatever is cheap and fits. But, if you enjoy dressing and feeling fancy - that is fine! Nothing wrong with that. I certainly enjoy that when I'm off the bike

I've been a collegiate and then sponsored athlete for my entire cycling career so far, so I've only used what was cheap or free (to me). Generic stuff, Pactimo, Champ Sys, Voler etc. It works fine and I just can't bring myself to spend $$$ on kit. I'd rather spend that on bike components!
