I operate in a flat, straight 30-45 mph posted environment. I use the holes that traffic lights create to negotiate short segments. If I’m in the traffic going through the light and I have a turn-out, I’ll pull over then follow the last vehicle in the platoon, taking the full lane. Generally works well.
I don’t like packs of cars behind me.
