Some options that I used to do when I was commuting SW Nassau to mid Brooklyn.
- Leave car at work in the secure parking lot (that was an option for me), bike home 17 miles, bike back in morning.
- Drive part way, park car, bike a shorter 18 mile one-way, bike home 18 in afternoon
- Leave and stash work clothes at work, especially shoes.
- Don't do it every day, when I was 40 and bike racing, I could round trip a 54, 3 days per week. 25 years later, it was one or 2 commutes by bike was all my body could manage.
