The problem with old Saturns in the NE is not the engine or the body. Those typically last forever. It's the underbody/subframe rust that kills them. That is why my mechanic said in good conscience he cannot let it pass inspection later this year. I am guessing the cost to fix a rusted out subframe/suspension is way more than my 1998 SL is worth.
