It was just changed again, to 15-40. I was under the hood checking for a coolant leak, and the valves were really loud. I could hear them well, as opposed to their former silence. Never assume any mechanic knows anything. The oil fill cap should be labeled with the type of oil Honda recommends. If not there, go with the owner's manual. I would think if you're using synthetic you should stay with it. And use a good filter. Crap filters can cause problems.
