Got a late start today, with the result that I didn't have time to cool down before my shower. Sob. Such is the life of a first world bicycle commuter.
About 70F with a decent breeze on the way in, bright and sunny. Because of my late start, traffic was lighter than usual. The interesting part was near the office. I've mentioned the bluebird boxes along the fence by the running path, and there were a couple of bluebirds just sitting on the fence as I rode by. Normally they're pretty skittish, such that I can't get closer than maybe 50 feet. Today they watched me ride by 15 feet away, as the English sparrow a bit further down was the skittish bird that flew off as I approached.
