I hear you, but I flexed the rear triangle back and forth and I could not tell any difference between the left side and right side at all. And in any event the 'seat' stay is still intact, so I figure if it fails, it won't be a catastrophic failure. From now until then there should be years of riding.
I have a CF handlebar with a crushed center section- and the bar is still extremely rigid with no flex or creak.
