I cleaned and re-greased my BB bearings then while I had the bike on the stand decided to take the day off and rebuild the rear DR. Ended up replacing the rear shift cable too. Headed into the house and the DW surprised me with my first pair of bibs. She got them in canary yellow to match my fave jersey. I couldn't wait to try them out so I suited up and put almost 30 miles in, no wind, but a soaking mist. The bibs were great. Felt like I could have stayed in the saddle for another 50 miles easily and the bike shifted like a charm. Hot shower and cup of Joe. What a great day thanks mostly to my lovely wife.
