Those aren't the wheels I run on the Mixte. The Normandy hub, 700c alloy clinchers bring the weight of the bike up to 26lbs, 13oz. Still pretty good for an old Peugeot.
I got my wife's Raleigh Super Course mixte down to 24 pounds by using Campy Record hubs, Ambrosio Montreal rims and Tufo tubulars. It's a single speed, but it has a rack and a sprung brooks on it.
