The CR1 does not break in a fall, I dont know where you are getting this but take it from somebody who owns one. The CR1 is a breaktrough in carbon frame design. After riding just about everything the CR1's ride, weight and feel hooked me. On a scale of 1-10, i give it an 11!!!!
