A few summers ago, my s/o and I rode our bikes from Pocomoke City, MD (where we were staying at a B&B) to Crisfield, MD and then went over on the mail boat to Smith Island. Rode around the island, visited the small museum, had lunch (with, of course, Smith Island Cake for dessert!)
Fun day. We'll have to try the Tangier trip some time.
