Yeah that's pretty chunky.
Kind of the same around here but not as bad - it's a lot like this. It can be really smooth dirt but then at other times it will be just littered with baby heads and other smaller rocks.

Those look like fun trails! fwiw some people go fast on rocks with hardtails. Not me, though I did have a steel Nishiki hardtail that had a really nice ride. The frame broke at the chainstay/dropout junction.
