Had a great little tour out into farm/wine country this morning. Ended up at the funky little store Hopewell Hub (who are also customers of ours) where they were kind enough to open two hours early so that I might purchase an espresso and scone. I was sitting in the shade enjoying my treats when a fellow pulled up in his C&V GMC pickup truck, and asked me where I was riding in from. Told him I came in from West Salem, and he was excited to check out my Peugeot and talk about bikes. He then clued me in on some of his favorite quiet back country roads in the area, so I ended up extending my ride out further than originally intended, which turned out to be really pleasant.
