Wow, that is quite the find! Down here in the hustle & bustle of the GTA they don't allow people to wander through and find stuff, nor will they allow you to take a bike out. They collect them and take them to a local coop (which one I'm not sure, as they wouldn't say and there aren't many around here) to be refurbished and given or sold for a low cost to those who can't afford to purchase. Good cause for sure but I wonder if people would appreciate the nice C&V road bikes people throw away?
I also wonder how many bikes really get thrown away these days around here? based on what I see on FB marketplace or Kijiji, people try and sell them, tag them as C&V and ask outrageous prices when they probably should have left them to be taken to the dump.
