A lot of joggers, motorized wheelchairs and pedestrians use the bike lanes when there are sidewalks present. It occurred to me that bike lanes are so much better than sidewalks. Cars and bikes don't have to go up and down at every intersection. And sidewalks are always full of stuff like signs, furniture and other types of obstruction by businesses.
