I got 1/3 off the list price of $3000 on the Ritchey back in 1997 because it was 8 speed DA and the 9 speed just came out. When I built up the Battaglin in 2007, I kitted it out with 2006 Chorus - bright alloy stuff instead of the then-new black. When I bought the Dodge in 2014 I got $8K off MSRP because the significantly refreshed 2015s were coming out.
So, I'm glad one can now get 105 in Di2 with disc brakes, but I won't be lining up for it.
