Those are ET's aren't they? Look into those flexible fender things I put a link in one of those fender or dirt threads. Zip tieing them on works great, super light, and really do a reasonable job.
fun to see it. I ride a c17 and it's not bad, my opinion of it had changed for the better, but for mostly seated riding, I still find my b17's are more comfortable.
I bought the Troll frame used, two years ago. I intended to tour on it last year but things came up and I never got out. Originally I moved a lot of my LHT parts over, including the handlebars I've been fiddling with it and swapping in other parts, including the ET's. I like it so far, but have not done any touring on it yet. I was a little surprised that it came in 3+ lbs heavier than my expedition-rigged-LHT.

As for the C19 I've been riding it on my fixed-gear for a while now. I wanted a waterproof saddle that would work for commuting. I like it but I agree with you, it's not the same as leather. I'm still not 100% sure it'll remain for the tour.

I've got the Troll dialed into my liking and looking forward to at least a couple of weeks out touring on it.
