I have owned a couple of Volpes and they are great bikes, in my opinion. I ride a Bianche Touring, a near clone of the Volpe as my Jamaica bike and it is the best rider in my humble collection. I don't keep it all shiny because it just gets dirty quickly on the mall paved roads, but the ride quality, gearing and braking performance are second to none, in my opinion. $100 is a steal, in my opinion.
