I quit putting any rides up on Strava a long time ago. Strava routinely tells my son that he is a local legend and his times are way slower than my times for the same route. I suppose if I were to put my rides up on Strava they'd call me a god! And honestly, I'm not that fast.
I sort of get it that Strava is trying to be a social place for cyclists to cheer and encourage each other, but the computerized encouragement part is a big turn off for me.
