Yup. The default view for ride/segment analysis is with Distance on the x-axis; when looking at questionable KOMs, I like to switch to Time on the x-axis - most often, this'll expose a flat spot or three, indicating that the person sat at one location for a while. This is usually just after they've finished their ride and they're loading their bike back in/on to their vehicle, before speeding off.
