Horrible. Maybe a decade ago something similar happened to a paralegal here in Philadelphia. He had left work and was crossing the street legally heading to a train station when he was hit by a cyclist. He fell and hit his head, slipped into a coma and later died. Family man with a wife and a couple of children. The cyclist, who also hit the ground, got up, straightened his handlebars and rode off. Despite a $50,000 reward offered by the victim’s employer, he has never been identified and charged.
