1982 Trek 720

It's been raining lately so I've started riding my 1982 Trek 720. It's a bit of a boat since it is an old school touring bike but it handles nicely and I really like the parts mix on it. I rode one of these across the country in '97 and couldn't resist buying this when it showed up on the local CL. I replaced all the parts with stuff I liked better. The dia compe bar end shifters mesh nicely with the suntour derailleurs. The gearing is on the low side (46/36/24 rings) but that's OK for touring. One of these days, I plan on converting this bike to 650b so I can run 38c tires on it; currently running 32c tires that run a bit narrow (closer to 30c).
