Mrs non-fixie has always liked cycling, but was more than happy with her "omafiets". Not much interest - if any - in the old stuff I was into.
Until she visited L'Eroica in Gaiole with me, eight years ago. She wanted to get in as well, but realized she didn't have an appropriate bike.
So I got her one.
Since then she's been to one who's been chasing after tickets to the nicest C&V events. Successfully, I might add.
These days her bikes are as nice as - if not nicer than mine. She even learned to take proper pics. Plucked this one off her FB page:
