Thanks; the existing pedals were actually fine, it was just I couldn’t work out how to fold them. I have now and will keep them in reserve as they’re absolutely fine. Every day’s a school day etc etc.
anyway I have had a pair of the XLC pedals fail on me, but that was after I tried to service the bearings. They’re not really designed to be serviced.
