Leather is a bit thinner so more forgiving maybe I believe.

FWIW, I have no problem with any Brooks, probably have 20 different ones, B17's, Specials, Pro's, Swallow, sprung, old, new, broken in, well broken in, not, etc, ad nauseum.

I can ride any and all no matter what with minimal adjustment or break in.

Love them all and cannot stomach most C+V without one.
