Picked up this 1988-ish Peugeot Normandie today. Reynolds 531 butted main tubes and fork, according to the catalog. Only made for one or two years, I believe. Other Normandie versions had a Reynolds 501 main triangle and a chromed HLE fork.
Anyway, I'd never seen one before, so when this one showed up in my size I decided I wanted it. Peugeots have a reputation of being nice bikes to ride, this was their top randonneur at the time, and the older I get the more I am liking the randonneur format.
It's had a pretty hard life. The BB-mounted generator is missing, as is the shift lever which operates it from the back of the seat tube. Further
equipements "spécial randonnée" consist of Weinmann cantilevers (MAFAC copies), a Shimano Deore crankset, derailleurs and shifters and Vetta front and rear racks.
