My first intro to Little Kings was at a place I worked in high school in the early 1980s called Malibu Grand Prix. The car mechanic was ex-military and he'd share some of those little brews after work as long as I paid my share. We'd drink it in the presence of the hired security who was passing time 'til we went home for the night. That hired security was a State Trooper.

The two of us would tell stories, while the Trooper would usually just pass out occasional advice while listening to us yak it up.
