I think the chrome shows contaminated tanks and meh interest. Over polished before chrome layer. Terrific chrome is Hard to do, rare are the platers who will put in the time. To charge enough would scare off work. A production shop in my mind does not have the right viewpoint. Look at the bridges, the seat lug, chainstay sockets, Hard regions to set up right.
hand held tool buffing required. $$$$.
anodes need to be placed strategically- extra armature work $$$.
