My point was that you don't need "the best" helmet. They are all good enough. More money gets you more comfort, more features, zippier styling, etc. But the helmet me and mine use, the $50 (on sale) Giro Register MIPS is every bit as good as your $200 Fox. Saving small amounts of money here and there throughout the year can add up to real money over time.
