Saturday I usually do 65-70 miles with at least 3000 feet of climbing and I'm usually the slowest one in the group. Chasing or trying to limit my losses tires me out more than if I was solo. Lately on Sunday I do a casual 25 miles by myself and I feel better than if I had stayed off the bike.

I always want to at least do a little spinning the day after a hard ride. Sometimes I take the mountain bike and do a little ride with some hike a bike.
