It can be corrosion, I have seen that a lot with alloy parts and frames sweat goes down the seat tube and causes havoc. I am not bothering with the broken link, if you are interested in posting pictures you will become a more active member of the forum and post a bunch so you can get to the amount needed and beyond to post photos. Otherwise you would have just used google or alta vista or ask Jeeves.
