Neither crank has a "round hole" where the bottom bracket spindle goes. The holes in the crankarms are identical. They have to be, as both cranks fit the same bottom bracket spindles, which are square pegs and don't go in round holes.
One of them, the Croce D'Aune on the right, has a round washer covering its square hole. This washer should be removed if you're using conventional crank bolts. If you're using self-extracting bolts, you need the washers.
