Have you tried contacting Cygolite? When I had an issue with a Hotshot and contacted them they were very helpful.

Lastly, a new Metro Pro 1100 is about $70 new.
Thanks a bunch, @tunavic. I just came to you guys first, so will send the Cygolitee guys a note here in a minute. I do run a Metro Pro 1100 on my helmet and the ironic thing is, based on a bunch of stuff here on this site about lights, I did my normal nighttime set up of simultaneously running Ceco F1000 on left bar, Trion 1300 on right bar, and Metro Pro 1100 on helmet differently on my 2-hr. ride in the dark last night. I did them each by themselves for 1/3 of the ride to see how much light each produces alone. I must say, the Metro Pro 1100 is pretty good.

Will post a f/u when I know something. Thanks again!
