I wasn't planning to get muddy when I started. There's a short dirt path, a little over a mile long, connecting a couple of my regular routes. The forecast called for a chance of afternoon showers. I thought I'd hit the path before the rains came, but either the rains came early in this part of town, or the path still hadn't dried out from the rains over a week ago. In any case, I picked my lines carefully and plowed through.
Coming down, not going up? That fog we had was as thick as I've seen in a while and the east side of the hills haven't warmed up yet. I hadn't seen your DeRosa before.
