I don't speak for all of N. America but where I'm from, it would be a very hard go of fixing up and selling 90's mountain bikes.
Hello and thanks for the reply! Yes, older bikes are popular at the moment, depending on make and model for sure. We usually don't have many mountains over here (except for some regions...) but these MTBs are quite nice for longer trips, on and offroad (gravel lanes...) Mine can easily take more paniers if needed and when the tent is set I can go for a ride in the neighborhood.
