He actually showed concern, and said the max cardio activity I should be doing is 60 mins max three times a week. He said that hours of cardio has been proven to cause heart problems in Endurance athletes. I don’t plan on stopping what I am doing anytime soon, Thoughts anyone?
Rarely, you can get scar tissue in the heart but I believe this is really for ultra-distance activities. I see nothing wrong with 4 hours on the bike. Or even more. One of my former cycling friends was a commercial pilot and rode/rides lots and was not told to limit his riding.
