Not to mention that today, there have been extended periods where BF was "non-responsive"; and no, it wasn't my internet service, it was BF. The breaking of links painstakingly saved by users is not a trivial thing, either. WTF indeed; and in true BF form, question "why" goes unanswered.
The problem of people in control of software who don't really use it day to day, or suffer the consequences of their "improvements" seems to be endemic to modern computer life.
