I bought a cheap one at Wally World 20 years ago and it still does the job. Instead of the more popular cylindrical style it has a small flat 5 or 6 tine cutting head and looks like the photo below. I don't know the relative merits of all the designs, but I've been happy with this one and have not had a nick or a cut using it.
