Classic Rims, Maybe Even Vintage Rims
Who makes them, new production, 700C, clincher rims in the classic style - polished aluminum, ferruled spoke holes, etc.
I corresponding question, who makes spokes - stainless, butted?
Finally, does anyone sell top quality, pre-built wheels using the components described above? I use a 120 mm rear spacing and an English-threaded, 5 speed freewheel.
I used to know who to go to and what to buy but not anymore. We lost Performance Bike, Bikecology, Nashbar,.., everyone I knew and would have gone to is gone.
I am currently riding a pair of wheels I bought from Performance in about 1987 (?). I have had zero, and I do mean ZERO!, issues with them.
