I dropped my dad's Rolleiflex 2.8 from a 50' radio tower in 1963
I also burned a hole in his Leica lllf's cloth focalplane shutter by leaving the front of the lens exposed to the sun a few years before that. He really liked me. He was not even mad about either event. He still let me use his darkroom, but was a little more careful about letting me use his cameras.
