Yeah, and there are SO many more flights from PDX to Phoenix than Tucson, but then a fella has to know that you can fly direct from PDX to Tucson...figured @
Gary12000 might not know the Bay Area or though of San Jose...and it's an hour closer to his destination.
Currently were are looking at a direct flight from NOLA(MSY) to San Fran then renting something to drive in on Wednesday .. i will look at San Jose just to be certain but i'm always amazed we have any direct flights at all as MSY is such a small Airport, and since covid many direct flights are not running.
