Had a nice, mostly relaxed ride this morning, but I was pretty sure that some ol' lady was gonna get me killed for a minute, there. I was going downhill on a bridge with a shoulder/bike lane that was rapidly coming to an end. The lady had passed me a few seconds before the end of the bridge, but then grew indecisive about turning left or going straight, straddling both lanes. Cars with a head of steam were rapidly approaching from behind, and I thought for sure that they'd be swerving around her at just the wrong time for me. Fortunately, the drivers were observant and had enough time/distance to stop without killing me (at which point they very loudly berated the lady).
STUPID CAGERS! Enough already...
A couple of days ago on my evening commute, I was compelled to knock on the window of a young dude to tell him not only did he turn right on a no turn on red sign, but also almost hit me while doing that!
All I got was (non surprisingly), “I’m very sorry man.”
