His whiskers used to be all black. He started growing a white whisker on the left side about a year ago, and we thought it was a pretty punk thing to do. Then he got one on the right, which was majestic. He shed the one on the left and grew a new one to take its place! We've collected the white whisker in a glass vial of other keepsakes including my first white hair.
