My brother enlisted in the Navy, ended up lobbing shells into Viet Nam from off the coast on a destroyer. A couple of my friends were drafted,, one didn't come back and another came back very weird and wanted to return to the war and eventually did. I never saw him again but I don't know what happened to him.
One of my cousins was trained as a sniper. He was over there and punched out an officer, got in a bit of trouble and sent home. He loved to fight.
